Bad Idea, New Recipients

President Obama’s new Hip-pocket Congress is busy rewriting the plaque on the State of Liberty. “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning for hand-outs and subsidy checks!” Though not courageous enough to write in on the actual plaque or to even to publish in the press, the sentiment is found in the Democrat “Pork-ulous” Package currently bulldozing its way through the capital.

Though the package has passed the House it did so without a single Republican vote. Good job to those who stared down the Democrat Messiah and refused to drink the Kool-Aid.

Now we learn some important facts about the subsidy checks included in the bill. Forget the fact that these attempts haven’t worked in the past. Forget the fact that these checks are brazen wealth redistribution—the government has no money, what it gives it takes from someone else. This bad idea has a new life and a new constituency under Pelosi, Reid and Company. Forget giving a Social Security number to receive your hand-out. No Social Security Number is needed under this plan, making it possible for a huge amount of money go to those in our country illegally.

Any Senate Republican voting in favor of this should be targeted for removal in their next election. Considering the actions of the current congress we should not be lacking in opposition candidates and in voters pumped to vote the bums out.
