The Race Vote

As I write this the United States is about to swear in our most historic president since Lincoln; Barack Hussein Obama is the first black president. Not too many years ago this would have been considered impossible. Until this last campaign the only serious black presidential candidate was Jesse Jackson, and anyone familiar with him knows the word serious is used in the narrowest sense. He may have been seriously considered but few could have voted for him with a straight face. Our current president is a different story. He managed to give people something to vote for, while John McCain floundered. In honor of this notable day I wanted to share the reasons I could never vote for Barack Obama. (more…)

Let the enemies of America rejoice—George W. Bush no longer resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Everyone is discussing the legacy of W. Bush II has been a mixed bag; while he deserves high praise for protecting us against our enemies, he deserves rebuke for his damage to the party of Reagan. (more…)
