After promises to close Guantanamo Bay the Obama administration seems to have woken to the realities of the world we live in. For too long the foreign policy of the left has been “blame America first.” In their view the evil in this world is not people who would kills innocents and blow themselves up out of insane religious zeal. To the left, the only evil in this world is the United States. The country that has freed more people, opened more doors to the unfortunate and given more generously than any other nation on earth is evil and wicked because we refuse to give up our freedoms to build their Utopian dream world, where everyone is equally poor and the individual submits for the sake of the collective.
